I've been thinking lately about how I would write a character getting Narnia'd and I think what I've settled on rather than an actual Narnia style very literal doorway situation is an abstract, gradual lost-in-the-woods sort of thing where there is no single moment where the character can say "This is when I left my home," only a moment of realization come much too late that they have taken a wrong turn and might never go home again
