do you ever pick a completely random NPC based solely off of their Trainer Class and location and then have their name set up an absolutely phenomenal plot point to the extent that readers will assume it had to be intentional
(training on Iron Island means that it’s reasonable to think they live in or around Canalave City and would be amenable to taking an overnight ferry to Pastoria, and being a Picnicker and Camper at the time of Diamond & Pearl means it is reasonable to cast them as a Young Couple in 2019. that’s it that’s the only reason i picked them)
Summer and Lawrence are the Picnicker and Camper training on Iron Island and that is the ONLY reason why I even know their names and YET the symbolism that both of them offer is currently driving this section of the fic
