just putting this out there in the fediverse:

I would set up recurring payments to help fund a fedi web client that was basically the mastodon web client hard forked and unsucked in various ways

@djsundog i'd do this for free if the mastodon web client wasn't an incredibly legacy React/Redux codebase with terrible organization and no documentation or code comments

but as it is i think a greenfield web app is the way to go 😩

@djsundog if someone wanted to reimplement the exact same app with actually good coding practices i would love that but i don't think i have it in me
