today in unicode adventures: U+204C ⁌ BLACK LEFTWARDS BULLET and U+204D ⁍ BLACK RIGHTWARDS BULLET are actually early pilcrow signs??
the characters are from ISO 5426-2 which has a number of other older characters and Latin ligatures https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_5426
