Reminder: "Xmas" is not a modern abbreviation to "remove Christ from Christmas". It's been around for more than 250 years, and the letter X (in English, and before that in Latin, and before that - as chi - in Greek) has represented Christ in writing for two thousand years, as a shorthand for the Chi-Rho ☧ - the first two letters of Χρίστος - which was itself shorthand for "Christ".
