@wallhackio Yeah, it feels as if I constantly see links to posts on here of the type of "[cloud provider] has sent me a bill of 3000$ for a small mistake" or "[cloud provider] has deleted all my data without warning" (don't remember if it was Amazon or Cloudflare or whoever else), and I am really glad none of these is a problem for me
If I ever do rent a fake computer (I am considering it, so that I can have static IP address, but it will not be from the big cloud providers), I will make sure that a fixed price is agreed upon and I will not be billed 3000$ for anything
@vaporeon_ They have 1000000 different services all with extremely similar acronyms. Many of these services accomplish similar things. The UI is complicated and overloads you with information, and the UI is constantly being updated so tutorials from 6 months ago are frequently out-of-date. Very small mistakes can be extremely expensive because of the way they price things. It just sucks
