@coriander I finished part I of Dune and i dislike the prose heavily
@wallhackio Honestly I can't blame you for this. Frank's prose is dense and weird and can be offputting. I was only able to follow the books after seeing DUNC because the way he just throws a bunch of names at you and expects you to keep up was really challenging for me.
Also, being real, some of his choices were really weird. If you keep going with the series you will eventually have to find out what "beefswelling" means
@coriander I had to reread the chapter where the Baron and his Mentat explain their plan like, four times to grasp what was happening. Not an exaggeration
@wallhackio Yeah, that one in particular is rough
@coriander I do like the book quite a bit despite that, the narrative/plotting kicks ass and I am quite invested
