@Breakfast Also maybe this isn't clear but I did mean this poll as a troll poll, I don't think red beans and rice fits neatly into either of the two categories.

My roommate argued that it is a sauce which I currently agree with

I mean if we're gonna be prescriptive with it I'd argue it's more like a curry, but I don't think the english language is very good with culinary distinctions.

@Breakfast I am of the opinion that chili is a stew but I am open to debate on the topic
