It is very annoying how I don't know where I would find reliable information about electronics & soldering stuff made by someone who knows what they're talking about and not by an LLM and not by someone just trying to sell me their specific tool

@vaporeon_ I haven't talked about this openly because I'm going to be embarrassed if I give up on it, but. I'm trying to learn a programming language and I hate A. IDEs having AI features and B. lots of "learn to program" sites online clearly being vibe coded.

I'm not going to tell you what language I'm starting with...

Experimental AI stuff was starting to be introduced in June 2021 so use a version from before then

@wallhackio @vaporeon_ fwiw, I did already pick out VSCodium, which has an option to disable AI features (which is on by default)
