going to a small college was a cool experience. in one of my programming classes the prof sent every student in the class a postcard with a handwritten message at the end of the semester. good times!

I famously got started listening to jazz on a recommendation from one of my German profs given to me at a bar across the street from campus after the semester was over

@coriander I don't have any clue how she did it. She spent all her savings on a rather extravagant wedding and she and her husband lived in a rather expensive house they rented. They must have gotten a lot of help from their friends or something I dunno
