Look, I have been very loud in the past that I don't think, say, Dark Souls needs an easy mode
I don't think any game needs difficulty settings
And sometimes I think demanding those can take away from dev time that could be better used on other things
BUT ALSO
If devs want to put difficulty settings and options in, then I also think they should do that
If a game is designed to have those type of options, then clearly those type of options are part of the studio's vision for the game
Anyway, fuck Gamers, they're a blight
