Man, I don't even really like Mario that much but seeing commercials for the movies and hearing Crisp Rat just say "Let's go" in a completely normal voice fills me wish such anti-whimsy
It makes me wish I liked Mario more so that I could be more rightfully indignant at how fucking awful that casting was

But I feel like I don't have to have watched it to know it wasn't good
@coriander I don't really have a love for Mario so the first movie just left me with.... nothing. It certainly was a 90 minute moving picture that I watched
Unfortunately for me I actually care about Sonic franchise so the Sonic movies genuinely offended me
@wallhackio I like Sonic more than I like Mario which is why I haven't seen any of the Sonic movies either
