You know what I like about Pokopia?
The way it works, there's a lot of figuring things out yourself that lends itself to things like "experimenting and figuring out how to do something" (sometimes it will tell you how to do it but much later when you could do it the whole time) and as such also leads to exchanging tips with other players which I feel like I haven't played a game where another human being is giving me a helpful tip like this in a long time.
It feels old school in that sense.
There's just no Nintendo hotline now
@lapis stardew really felt like this if you didn't read the wiki
@wallhackio I was SO proud of myself when I noticed I could fix the bridge with 300 wood on the beach.
my first run (for the most part) was just like that, but now? Now it''s wiki
@lapis fun fact: the game has a fail safe for players like me where, if you take too long to find the shadow creature, you can fish it up randomly and one of the things you catch with your rod
well, it so happen this happened to me during the fishing minigame during that one fall festival which was EXTREMELY CONFUSING
@lapis i did not save a video of this event unfortunately so you will have to take my word for it
@wallhackio I meant if you knew of videos in general but I believe you. why would you lie
@lapis im struggling to find proof of this feature of the game on the wiki but it did 100% happen to me
@wallhackio CLEARLY you need to start a new playthrough and recreate it. just for me.
my birthday is next month!!!!!!!!
@wallhackio speaking of which when is your birthday so I can add it to my calendar.
@wallhackio ...I did not know this do you have video
