I do not understand why you would ever pay for YouTube to avoid the ads if you can just use yt-dlp on desktop and NewPipe on your Android evil rectangle
I suppose yt-dlp may be difficult to set up on Windows?

@vaporeon_ yt premium lets you play videos in the background on your evil rectangle, which can be convenient when you want to listen to some music or video essays during a 12 hour drive
@wallhackio Not sure what is meant with "in the background", but can't you do that with VLC? Download the music with NewPipe and then play it with VLC?
