re: unserious
@vaporeon_ I can't possibly compete with vaporeon for the device hoarding championship
re: unserious
@wallhackio I think that if you have a server rack, you also get bonus points, since you're clearly dedicated enough to device hoarding to obtain a server rack for your server devices...
I don't have a server rack. No place to put it, and lack of servers.

re: unserious
@wallhackio In this metric, how much is a regular desktop PC worth?
re: unserious
@wallhackio Floppy disks are thin and small! They're easy to store! That's too many points, I think...
re: unserious
@vaporeon_ but they are old and only owned by enthusiasts which makes them more valuable. But perhaps that it is still too many points
re: unserious
@vaporeon_ normally 1. Unless you built it, which is 10. Or if it's at over a decade old, in which it's worth 5 points, 10 if it's at least 20 years old
re: unserious
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ there should be a separate category for the most wearable devices you can show up with
You've been taught you should really carry no less than 5 computers on you at all times, like a sensible person.

re: unserious
@wallhackio Earlier today, I wondered about what the best metric for device hoarding would be
Having 10 computers in giant house with basement is much less impressive than having 10 computers in tiny apartment
But perhaps, I should account for the size of the devices? Having a giant server gets bonus points. Hoarding a lot of evil rectangles is easy because they're small, so that gets less points. I don't really know what to do about server racks...
