COVID, complaining
I wonder how my Dad, who got covid and then went to the hospital for 2 weeks and returned with oxygen and a wheelchair that he had to use for 6 months (eating became very difficult for him and sometimes he would undergo violent coughing fits when eating) and still feels physically weaker to this day, and my Mom, whose sense of taste permanently changed making her occasionally taste reasonably salted dishes as vastly oversalted and finding sour cream and other types of dairy intolerable and now will randomly experience an overwhelming smell of onions for a few minutes, manage to still believe that covid was a hoax
re: COVID, complaining
The worst part is that, when my dad got covid, it was before my younger brother's high school graduation party. My dad had a brother who was sick and he knowingly spent the night before the party with this brother and then helped prepare food for the next morning.
Another family friend also showed up who unknowingly had covid. Obviously there was a covid breakout in our entire family.
