@wallhackio @The_T i've recently been anti-airing, that is, "hitting my fighting game opponent out of the air", with my crouching heavy attack instead of the traditional forward > down > downforward > strike move (colloquially known as a "dragon punch"). this is because i've been playing Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising which has cooldowns on special moves, and the dragon punch works both as an anti-air and a "reversal", i.e. a move that's invincible on startup to get me out of pressure. when my opponent has knocked me down and can force me to play rock paper scissors on wakeup (an "okizeme" situation) i don't want to be caught with my reversal on cooldown and have less options
@monorail @wallhackio yeah; at this point lots of fighting game characters have anti-airs that aren't DPs. Most of them look like uppercuts of a sort actually.
@The_T @wallhackio anila carries a spear so her 2H uses the spear. but it's more of a swipe than a stab so idk how that works
