@vaporeon_ an herbal seasoning that is also called coriander in some places

@Breakfast Oh! Coriander! I know that! Why did they invent a different name for coriander?

@wallhackio @Breakfast Not sure, it was a long time ago, but I don't think it resembles mint at all in terms of flavour?

@wallhackio @Breakfast I think it was some sort of dried spices? Not a powder, but no big leaves, either...

@wallhackio @Breakfast The one in the top right corner, showing the dry leaves. I think they were ground up to be slightly smaller than that, but they weren't a fine powder.

@vaporeon_ @Breakfast what you had is probably what over here would be called "dried cilantro"

what we call cilantro is the leaves, what we call coriander are the seeds

Where I'm from dried cilantro is uncommon, I've never had it but it is a thing

@wallhackio @vaporeon_ dried coriander leaf isn't uncommon in a lot of places, but in places it grows well it's easy enough to get the fresh stuff, and I think that's preferred in cooking, like even moreso than other herbs
