@The_T @wallhackio Falcon's dair is the only move in the game to have some hitboxes that are meteor smashes and some that are spikes. In particular, there's one spike hitbox. It's the top one

@The_T @wallhackio The other two hitboxes have exactly the same angle

I don't know if they intentionally put the one hitbox just outside of meteor smash range, but I think they did intentionally make it different than the others

@amy @wallhackio unrelated but his does have me thinking about how, early attempts at bringing 2D games into 3D, like Street Fighter EX, they really couldn't get it quite right, and it took them until Street Fighter IV to figure out: just detach the models and hitboxes entirely. Make the hitboxes entirely 2D. Don't attach them to the 3D limbs.

I always thought that was super interesting, and modern 2D Fighters with 3D graphics still work that way.
