Everybody wants to make a game about running a small business when what we SHOULD be doing is making a game about running an office of public infrastructure. i don't WANT to spend every day "making money at my cute cozy shop" i want to run a cute cozy POST OFFICE or BUS STATION or WATER TREATMENT PLANT
yes i know there's a lot of games like this but we need MORE we gotta push back against the small business mindset. you will not get rich selling your crops to the local store! but you COULD make a difference if we had COMMUNIST INFRASTRUCTURE
this is why infra is still a top tier game
there's a genuine point to be made here about the way that "run a little business" type games generally are built around convincing people that capitalism is a fun little game that can be solved instead of the death drive of a dying world.
but more importantly: recommend me post office games pls
