@wallhackio they are two very old men with diametrically opposed goals that absolutely hate each other. the left is the leader of a city in a post-apocalyptic world that’s on the brink of being like, literally wiped out of existence due to reasons that are spoilery, who has dedicated his existence to preventing the world from being wiped out. he’s pretty much unanimously loved by the city and is generally kind and self-sacrificing (but hates the guts of the one on the right). the one on the right wants to wipe out the world due to reasons that are spoilers. he’s cranky, melodramatic, meddling, and sick of being alive, and he sees the one on the left as more of a nuisance/finds him fascinating but doesn’t like, hate him with every fiber of his being in the same way that the one on the left does
