@coriander there was a delightful strip in the 2010's called Cul de Sac. Unfortunately the artist got cancer and died after two or three years but it was easily my favorite strip you could find in a modern newspaper at the time

@coriander he had undisclosed health issues, not cancer. he died after his retirement. my bad.
