in high school drama class we had to do a monologue and i got permission to take agent smith's big motive rant from the matrix and edit it slightly to take out the one or two mobius lines and make it still make sense. this was on the condition that i understood that one of the things we were being graded on ability to convey emotion, so i couldn't deliver it like agent smith. that was fun
(you don't have to tell me about the way that agent smith indicates so much about himself despite his flat, computer delivery, i also think it's great, but it doesn't really work in the context of stage performance in the same way. you have to be more over the top there)
