It seems that my drawings on paper look better than my drawings on computer. Maybe because the pencil adds texture that makes things look less flat? Doing that on computer would require me to understand shading, and I do not...

@vaporeon_ art purrograms have gotten pretty good at imitating the look and feel of traditional art (if you’ve ever seen a digital artist talking about “brushes”, this is often what they mean (creating custom brushes that do weird and wild things is another related skill if you want to lean into the digitalness instead of imitate physically drawing))

@aescling I've tried out Krita before, but IIRC I didn't get a result close to what a pencil would look like IRL...
