@onfy firefox is actually really annoying about this though because if you copy the URL it copies the unicode as opposed to the actual goddamn canonical URL and i've gotten bitten copypasting the URL to a curl invocation so many more times than i’d like to count

my browser seems to completely refuse to display any punycode domain as unicode, so that's probably on purpose

@compufox anyway yeah i was originally doing this all with severals 2 as exa reccomend but i just got annoyed and all "i wish i could do this with make`. and, well, turned out to not be very hard to pull off. then i spent hours tweaking on a java file that i had already edited to my needs because i'm just like that
