In school, we did drawing practice where we drew e.g. a street going off into the distance, with streetlights and telephone cables on the sides, or buildings on a street, that sort of thing. Not sure how that's supposed to help me with close-ups of Pokémon, though, when they, unlike buildings, aren't box-shaped...

@vaporeon_ furgive the blurry shot but here’s a frame from season 2, episode 8 of the spectacular spider-man from a shot i loved at the time. it’s using one point perspective (though the gun might just be outright cheated here, which i guess they figured they’d get away with because the shot this is from is a very quick camera movement that helps obscure the cheat)
