finished the book and then walked back home

its warm but there's a bit of a breeze so it wasn't too bad of walking weather

not enough of a breeze to keep me from sweating but it is the season of sweat so it is what it is

re: lewd words and contemporary romance

it is really funny to me that contemporary romance books will use "come" to mean "cum" but then will just use the word "cock"

like just use "cum" lmao, its fine, "come" just looks awkward and a word that means multiple things

re: lewd words and contemporary romance

Merriam-Webster:

"come
2 of 2
noun
variants or less commonly cum"

indicates that "cum" is less common and uh...where comrades is it less common? because I see "cum" used way more often to mean semen/orgasm than I do "come"

@packetcat maybe in their purresumably biased sample language data it's more common?

re: lewd words and contemporary romance

@aescling mmhmm I imagine that is indeed the case
