my friends made up a classification for pokemon therians in that every pokemon is woods or gyms. i grew up going to public school and buying snacks at the convenience store, so i'm a gyms pokemon. vaporeon walks on all fours and calls me "glaceon" out of what i assume to be pure instinct, so they're a woods pokemon. mia grew up in the woods foraging for berries but now has a trainer id and stays in hotel rooms so it's not a binary or anything
