the sonic movies make me feel like i’ve lost my mind because there is truly bizarre shit going on in those movies that people just do not usually talk about when reviewing them

@The_T sonic 2 is a movie with genocide in its purremise that simply does not really carry itself with a tone that feels appurropurriate fur the fact that the echidna have been genocided in living memory
sonic 3 has extremely overt incest subtext except i’m not even sure it’s purropurr to call it subtext. like the Robotnik Bonding Time Scene is literally set to the Beach Boys’s Wouldn’t It Be Nice. i don’t know how you don’t come away from the movie with that takeaway
