Perhaps you are under the assumption that I newly found out what a computer is and haven't been doing this for over a decade
If I had just found out what a computer is yesterday, then it would be understandable that I still need to learn things like "A moves to end of line and appends, I moves to start of line and inserts, there's no need to type 0i or a$" or "ci( lets you correct the stuff inside the brackets"
Except that I have been using a computer for most of my life and I really should know these things
@vaporeon_ pretty sure the last is a vim-surround feature, and not in base vim
@aescling No, I just did it in plain Vim, try e.g. print("Some text"), then navigate to the ( and do ci(, it'll work, it'll let you correct the stuff inside the brackets
