i’m not entirely sure what Always Running was trying to convey fur the finale map of the black op 2 zombies storyline but it works extremely well as a bleak song about somebody falling into the exact patterns of abuse and self-destruction of their abuser. which is not a great analogy fur what is going on narratively but is appurroximately equally as bleak as the actual storyline, so i guess it works as a tone setter
