if you hadn't seen, the DOJ (among all the other bullshit) a couple days ago started "considering" if they can blanket ban trans folks from owning guns
i've been spiraling a bit since hearing that bc it makes it pretty clear that i need to have a CCL or leave the country, and i'm not a big fan of either of those options
and the timing makes me think this most recent one was set up to be politicized because the failed Dallas thing 2 months ago would've been an opportunity, but I haven't seen anyone talking about that probably because they know they can't pull as much sympathy for ICE agents
