i have a tiny "video editor" that does very little, but it can losslessly trim a video down to just a segment. i usually do that before posting a melee clip to fedi, since they end up being small enough that my instance can handle the rest of the processing. it's called "lossless cut" understandably enough

it's a tiny program but idk if it's got a memory leak or what because i can't leave it open in the background for days at a time like i'd like to, when i come back to it it's nearly frozen and sooo slow

i am using an old version

not for any reason, just out of "too lazy to update"

of course i say all that and then my server 403s when i try to upload a melee clip
