I started playing Arkham City last night, only the second time I've played it and the last time was over a decade ago (good god...), and it's definitely good, it makes some mechanical improvements over Arkham Asylum, but it already feels so much like a standard misguided superhero sequel. "This thing was good, so let's just make everything BIGGER! AND MORE!"
Also somehow a lot of the animations are worse
@coriander that’s the much more tolerable way of doing it, but still unfortunate
@aescling Like the combat animations and such are really solid but animations of characters standing or talking or generally emoting outside of combat feel stiff and weird
