Thankfully, the cybre.space EOL/cessation-of-operations plan remains available via various archives, such as [1].

cybre.space, a volunteer-run Mastodon instance, lasted five years plus a one-year fully functional read-only period. Many cybre.space members are now distributed throughout other instances and it remains a core part of fediverse culture.

To me, that's an absolute success.
