learned from this article's comment thread that PCalc has a Mac app and you can put it as a widget

*and* you can edit the layout with currency conversions

that means I just picked up PCalc from the Mac app store

so I can have those two buttons in the bottom row that do USD<->CAD conversions

of course they have all kinds of other calculation functions you can do and make whatever layout you need

love it

I am unironically excited about a calculator app

should add a row for Fahrenheit<->Celsius conversion

reminded me that the calculator I used in high school was a Casio fx-991MS

Its still around collecting dust in a storage closet, the battery in it seems to be completely dead so its not turning on atm

@packetcat I unironically *loved* my ti84 in high school. I need to get that back from my sister if she still has it….
