the irony of sakurai talking about how fighting games can often lead to one player just staring at the screen getting comboed in his video about the original super smash bros., whose combo game has developed into something truly obnoxious at this point

@monorail no but he did say “it’s alienating to just get comboed so i made every input very simple and intuitive to pick up and i tried to make the combo system improvisational”
