i wish i wasnt inept at webdev and that mastodon's frontend wasnt a shitshow of ruby html.
ive tried exactly ONCE to edit mastodon's front end and it never worked and i gave up.

fun fact pinafore saves to localstorage so as long as you don’t update it you can use it when not connected to the host you downloaded it from! every now and then this might break on you if you need to refresh it for whatever reason though
@compufox vanilla JS has custom elements now so we’re not planning on using any framework at all!
@aescling good luck. it might be better to just. have be like pinafore tbh. at the very least it might be easier
