thinking about how mastodon creates APIs for stuff and then NO ONE (including the fucking web interface) uses them.

this is inspired by remembering that mastodon has an api for tracking your position in home/notification timelines so you can pick up where you left off

but I have yet to see ANYTHING actually use it
