trick or treat timing question
housemate decorated the front of the house with lights and skeletons. but he has to work today, won't get home until 7:30 or so.
I'm petsitting about a mile from my house, on a dead end street without a lot of trick or treat traffic in recent years. so (with the pet owners' approval) I told him I'd walk home for the evening and greet trick or treaters until he gets home.
when should I expect them to start arriving, given that it's a Saturday? sunset is at 6:15.

I walked home from 4:30 to 5. I saw no trick or treaters on the streets. sun is getting low in the sky now. candy is in the bowl, porch light and sugar skull string lights on, pumpkin candles lit, porch swept. black cat in lap. someone please knock

@twistylittlepassages we got our first kid at 5:30 on the dot and then like four more immediately after so i feel vindicated in my predictions 😂
