'the romantic leads are now on opposite sides of a political/ideological divide wherein she has joined a revolutionary uprising to overthrow his-evil-brother-the-king and put him on the throne, and he as a prince of the blood is horrified by the idea of any such rebellion against the anointed ruler and would never take the throne if offered to him this way, but they are at an impasse because

THEY ARE BODYSWAPPED

AND SHE IS HIM AND HE IS HER

SO NOW HE KNOWS ALL ABOUT THE REBELLION AND COULD TURN THEM ALL IN, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND IF THE REVOLUTION HAPPENS AND PUTS HIM ON THE THRONE SHE COULD JUST SAY SURE OKAY GREAT AND HE COULDN'T STOP HER'

is such an incredible escalation of the bodyswap plot device. really truly galaxy brain

@ryfulets this is amazing, the show-writers here are clearly the true innovators of the bodyswap trope

@Satsuma the second lead in the love triangle has also been read in on the bodyswap at this point and tried briefly to narrow down which of them actually had romantic moments with her and when it turns out it was both of them she was just like 'okay! yay! :sparkleheart:'

@ryfulets i appreciate when they give us polyshippers crumbs even tho i kno they wont commit to it
