hey, when our meds arrive they come in a bunch of freeze packs that indicate we're supposed to dispose of them down the drain

does anybody happen to know, is that actually environmentally friendly? we don't know what this substance is, only what the label claims

@ireneista well that makes it a lot harder to say! i encountered a similar kind of “drain safe” gel pack a while back, and after googling the company was able to determine it was basically liquid fertilizer (nitrogen, water, and a thickening agent) so not ideal but also not anything super toxic either
