fields of mistria won't load now that i've upgraded my gpu................what...........................
okay well i had to upgrade my linux kernel, install a particular ppa, AND manually upgrade the open source linux amdgpu firmware, but i got fields of mistria working again 😩
...except the screen is doing a weird shuddery thing in the top third that's making me motion sick, and none of the graphics settings in fields of mistria are fixing it. jesus. okay i have to assume that is ALSO a monitor-too-old-for-hot-new-gpu problem...too bad i can't fucking afford new monitors after i just spent hundreds of dollars on a gpu!!!!!!!!!!!!
