LISTEN. this shot was used a lot in promo stuff for poj (FOR GOOD REASON. this is shockingly horny for a cdrama!) and i think it gave people a mistaken impression about the dynamics involved. what is in fact happening here is that xz got hit with sex pollen (actually some kind of aphrodisiac-laced incense), and he's been married to the world's most beautiful woman for a year and a half and she's never once fucked him even tho he was down from literally episode 1. so he's kind of desperate. but right after this shot, she shoves him away, makes him tell her who she is (so that she knows he's still lucid), and as soon as he says her name, she shoves HIM against the OPPOSITE wall of the tub and climbs on top of him. this is just one of a million ways the show has telegraphed that she's a spunky dom top and he's her pretty pillow princess house husband. why is he a personality-less dom in all the fic 😭
