anyone know any good smart bulbs for running open source firmware?

i will not be using HomeAssistant so compatibility with that is not relevant.

i care more about easily being able to flash something on the device itself. if there is an open source firmware compatible with the Matter protocol then that would be the best option.

if there's any LED bulbs that are compatible with X10 then that would be cool too... but that doesn't seem to be the Hot Stuff these days

@linear these are one option, which comes pre-flashed with tasmota (open source lightbulb firmware): athom.tech/blank-1/tasmota-mat

presumably this also makes them fairly easy to flash with whichever other firmware you might prefer

@linear @Satsuma could u lmk how that goes? i may also want to play with this
