Mother's Day

It's my first mother's day (which I'm very happy about) this year and we're not really doing anything.

I think I'd like that to change, but that requires some idea of what one does to celebrate a day like mother's day, preferably beyond the "get a bunch of pastel tulips and a card from the services" trope.

So, dear Fediverse, how do YOU celebrate #MothersDay, if you do? This can be for you, or for your mother figure, or for ancestors, or women in your life more broadly.

Mother's Day

@curatedjenny growing up it was always breakfast in bed for mum, initially made by my dad but increasingly by us kids as we got older
