So, I recently was made aware of Progressive Muscle Relaxation, and specifically this document on it- https://www.va.gov/WHOLEHEALTHLIBRARY/tools/progressive-muscle-relaxation.asp
On that page is an example exercise of tensing and then relaxing a sequence of muscle groups. One of the things they have to tense and relax is your tongue, tensing it by pressing it against the roof of the mouth.
I have now tried this exercise a few times, and every time I've discovered that my tongue is *already* pressed against the roof of my mouth.
Now I'm hyperaware of where my tongue is in my mouth and I DON'T KNOW WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO SIT!!!!
I assume solving this issue will help with my TMJ stuff though.
re: mouth details, annoying physicality, caps
@Satsuma
hmn.. some initial online research seems to say you're likely right on this.
Now I'm even more confused lol
