Part of me is protesting against iron-on + zigzag stitch appliques for my wip quilt like come on self, you can do better than that, but realistically: if I need turn-ins then I need to buy more fabric and this fabric came from joanns a decade ago, and also, if I'm doing this by hand it simply won't get done.

I guess there's more options between zigzag overstitching and invisible hand applique but. My one year old niece probably doesn't know the difference anyway.

I still need to sew around the edges of the sun's rays but. Here's what it looks like! I started sewing this almost ten years ago (it has mostly sat untouched between then and now).
