@titania I've seen people follow my fanfiction.net stories that were clearly marked as complete, maybe this is similar behavior 🤔
@Satsuma @titania @ljwrites oh I sometimes private-bookmark something in order to leave a note to myself; I find it helpful to note that I have in fact read the fic (or dnf'd the fic) but disliked it for xyz reason, so future me can have a reminder if I ever stumble across the fic again and not spend any further time on it.
but idek about subscriptions. if I like something enough to subscribe I'm def hitting that kudos button!
@lookitmychicken @Satsuma @titania Ah, that makes sense! I remember my friends telling me some people use susbscription/follow as bookmarks when I wondered about users doing this.
@Satsuma yeah we ended up with 3 bookmarks (all private, ofc) without any comments/kudos, which is fine, just very funny to me.
(it's rated E! but it's not actually JUST porn! Because you actually have context: it's a really weird AU pairing I wrote in which Thallan Shara destroys the city and, well, it's fine, don't worry about it)
