food (meal replacements), questions, asking for recommendations

are meal replacements actually good?

i want something more healthy then cheap ass food that's low effort and doesn't cost much and stumbled upon no boilerplates' video, but wanna know y'alls opinion?

(so far didn't try them, but most of my meals are shit anyway and eating is more of a chore to me and i do kinda need something more proper then "shitty pure sugar cereal" for probably at least 1-2 meals a day)

edit: also, feel free to recommend brands

@schrottkatze generally healthwise none of them are as good as eating a variety of foods, but if you’re trying to upgrade from cereal they definitely work for that. In the US ensure has by far the best reputation as far as meal replacement shakes go, which is what i use when i’m too nauseous for real food.

the chocolate and vanilla are both fine, i don’t love the strawberry but ymmv. allegedly they also sell more niche flavors but i’ve never seen them in an actual grocery store so you prob have to order online
